What is a Birth Doula?

Birth work is a unique and rewarding profession. It involves providing support, guidance, and care to expectant families as they navigate the journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood. As a birth worker, one must possess a wide range of skills, including extensive knowledge of childbirth, excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to provide emotional and physical support to families. Birth work is not just a job but a calling, as it requires dedication, passion, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Working as a doula, the goal is to ensure that every parent feels empowered, supported, and confident as they bring new life into the world.
